About Me
Hello, my name is Trent Trinidad, a Licensed Specialist in School Psychology contracting with several school districts around Texas. I have worked as a School Psychologist for 20+ years. I obtained my B.S. in Psychology and my M.S. in Clinical Psychology at Texas Tech University. Currently, I provide psychological services in the elementary, middle, and high school settings. I am passionate about collaborating with families and school staff to help students grow. Outside of work, I enjoy cooking, playing tennis, and spending time with my wife and son.
As a Big Spring Board of Trustee member for the past 3 years, I have advocated for children with special needs, student’s access to mental health services, and our children’s emotional development. If re-elected, I promise to continue to support students and teachers in the classroom, and improve the quality of education for our students at BISD.

Work Experience
As a School Psychologists, I work with principals, parents, administrators, and other relevant stakeholders to ensure that schools implement evidence-based, comprehensive assessment systems that accurately identify schools that are succeeding and schools that are struggling to educate all children.
As a School Psychologist providing counseling to students, it gives me insights into their emotional, behavioral, and learning patterns. To understanding the root causes of their struggles and develop strategies to manage challenges in the academic and social spheres.
